Warranty

Custom Longbows by Sal DeSimone are backed by a six month limited warranty. This is for defects in craftsmanship and materials. The following are not covered: Scratches, Twisted limbs, Delaminating or mechanical failure due to subjection to high or very low temperatures, String wear, Dry fire or improper arrow weight or brace height. Any "work" or alterations to the bow. There are no additional warranties, expressed or implied, that extend beyond what is stated here.

Custom Longbows by Sal DeSimone shall not be liable for improper use of any bow resulting in injury to persons or property.

Deposits

A one time deposit of $225.00 is required at the time of order to initiate production. This can be in the form of a money order or through PAYPAL. This deposit is non-refundable once production has begun.

Final Payment

The total balance of the order must be paid prior to delivery. This can be paid in advance by money order, Paypal or can be paid C.O.D. If arrangements for pick-up or delivery at a mutually convenient location are decided upon, cash will be ok.

Delivery/Shipping

Shipping and Handling will be included in final payment of order. In the Continental USA this will be

$20.00 USD.

Other Important Information

• Never dry fire your bow by drawing and releasing the string without an arrow. An arrow that is too light will also cause this condition which can severely damage the bow and any person nearby. Minimum of 8 grains per pound of bow weight is required for total arrow weight (Less will void the warranty). I recommend 9-12.

• Do not use a longer or shorter string than specified, this can cause damage to the limbs, voiding warranty. Set to the defined brace height.
• Always use a bowstringer to string and unstring your bow. Twisted limbs will result using the "Push-Pull" or "Step Through" methods.
• Inspect your bow and arrows for damage often, before after and even while in a shooting session. Check your string for wear and replace yearly or when worn with the specified AMO string.
• Use common sense, if something looks damaged or suspect, call me and I may need to see the bow to remedy the problem an make it safe to use.

• Never expose your bow to extremes of heat, cold, prolonged moisture. Never leave your bow in the car in the Summer or Winter. All these things can cause bow limb failure and will void warranty. Store in a cool dry place vertically, horizontally on pegs or hang from the top nock. Do not lean on lower limb in the corner.

WARNING!

Your bow is a deadly weapon and can cause grave injury! Always abide by Safety Rules. You cannot go back in time!
